Who are we?
Bachy Balineau, a local history.
The agency was set up in 1961 with the drilling of the Vieux Habitants dam in Guadeloupe. Branches were soon set up in Martinique (1962) and French Guiana (1963).
In 2024, Bachy Fondaco merged with Balineau, both subsidiaries of the Soletanche Bachy Group operating in the West Indies and French Guiana, to become Bachy Balineau. This merger enables our customers to benefit from the complementary expertise of each of the two entities in the zone: land-based works and nautical works.
Bachy Balineau offers its customers expertise in a wide range of geotechnical processes to solve their soil problems, build their foundations or underground structures, and construct their maritime and river infrastructures.

Our environmental commitment: to reduce our carbon footprint by 40% by 2030.
The company is part of the Soletanche Bachy Group’s action plan. This aims to reduce direct CO2 emissions by 40% by 2030. This pragmatic, local environmental action plan focuses on concrete, targeted measures in key areas: reducing fuel consumption, reducing the volume of cement used and recycling waste.
